Romantic rural summer event – Tuusniemi – Kuopio-region – Lakeland – Visit Finland

Warmth, indulgence and tight lines. Romance, fish dishes and fishing are the themes for the event. Kutujuhlat is a romantic summertime event with a warm rural atmosphere organised each year at the naturally picturesque Puistosatama marina on the shores of the pure and sparkling waters of Lake Juojärvi in Tuusniemi.

Tuusniemi is located close to Kuopio (40 minutes) and Joensuu (60 minutes). Travelling from Kuopio Airport takes 30 minutes. The day of festivities includes a local market for the whole family, a playful Romantic Racetrack competition, local food, fried and smoked vendace freshly caught from the pure and sparkling waters of Lake Juojärvi, live music, fun programmes, and a variety of exhibitions. Catering services focus on serving local dishes. Popular Finnish artists will be performing in the evening. Traditional Kutujuhlat Trolling on Friday evening.

Kutujuhlat event will not be held in year 2021.
